The good life

Dr. Valentia Angelin, PhD Alchl. Mgmt. and I are writing fictional books together! (By fictional books, we mean books that don't exist.)

Stay tuned for these titles, available at your nearest bookstore, minimart, supermart, hypermart or karang guni recycling centre:

1) The Alcoholic Diaries: How to Manage Your Life with Organic Chemistry
2) Rhinestone Matters
3) Alcohol Insight: The Vision of the Glad

Each will cost a mere $42.99.

These titles will prove to be extremely educational and useful to possibly-but-probably-not-tranny Megan Fox.

牛油工厂

Me: eh my chinese teacher knows what butter factory is o_o
Zoy: omg the thought of your chinese teacher clubbing is frightening
Zoy: how old is she
Zoy: who is she
Zoy: pretty not
Me: she's 52

Live life, the slow way.

(Oh my gosh. I think Channel 8 has actually produced a show that I like. Tuesdays 8pm! Foreigners living in Singapore, speaking Chinese! Hilarious! The Scottish guy looks like David Archuleta!)

Tired ;___;

Okay, so I have some HK relatives living in the house now.

My kid nephew. He's cute. Pretty funny, very witty. But he's got tonnes of energy. And he's needs people to talk to him.

It's pretty tiring to play Cooking Mama (he wants to create, like, every dish) on the car with this kid blabbing Cantonese when all you can say in response is "ohhh", "aww" or give a surprised expression. .___.

Okay I admit, I will never be a kid person. I would be the worst teacher in the world. The kind that students hate and draw cartoons of.

(And he's still bouncing off the walls. Good thing the dogs will keep him entertained for a bit while I catch some zzzs.)

enlightened?

Si Qi's in Singapore! :D Yay my primary school artsy funny buddy hey hey! Jade must tell me when we're going out!

Heh and thanks, psychiatrist! I'm feeling light-footed. Maybe I'm just sleepy.

like a blender

4-mallet technique is really frustrating to learn. Especially Musser-Stevens. But somehow I understand why they say it's more useful. I'm waiting for someone to invent something that combines the best of all three... ._.

Sorry, I need more RAM. Nothing interesting to say here for now.

Crap, I don't even know where I went wrong...

Argh.

Confused.

Moving on while you prance in circles

It's the time of the year again. School applications...

(I should be focusing on passing the IP requirements first, shouldn't I? But no, I just have to reconsider VJ again. AGAIN.)

I just wish HC had VJ's uniform
and subject combinations
and CO conductor
and location.

Do I regret staying in NY? Maybe. Probably not. But maybe. I'm hoping that I do get into both schools. Then I'd flip a coin.

ramble #5007

I love food a lot. I think I have said this a lot, partly to emphasise it and mostly to explain why two people offer me seats at the same time on the MRT.

I hereby declare fattening food the best food on earth. Vegans, organic farmers and Lee Hsien Loong are gasping, pulling their hair and shrieking in horror. "Our health is important, our HEALTH!!!" Well, screw you! Fat is totally important.

I choose chicken thigh meat over chicken breast meat. Only ang mohs are dumb enough to pay more for drier, flaky meat. Fat makes food taste better.

Once, when my mother was cooking, I peered over her shoulder and went, "The marble of the meat is not nice." Then she smacked me on the head and said, "Shuddup. You think this is what, Wagyu beef ah. Marble marble. You think you're some chef on Channel 16 is it?" Channel 16, by the way, is the Discovery Travel & Living channel -- home of Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain -- aka mostly-food channel.

That aside, all great chefs, not just my mum, agree that fat is awesome.

Now, time to start exercising...

Remember how I moaned that I shared my (very rare) birthday with, of ALL people, Mary-Kate and Ashley? Yeah, the ang moh twins that half the girls in primary school worshipped. The twins with the eating disorder and the whole dating-Lance-Armstrong thing going on.

Sad.

Today I learnt that I've the same birthday as another celebrity, yay!

Someone called Aaron Johnson. I don't even know who the hell he is. But he played Charlie Chaplin in some Jackie Chan movie. That (both the fact that he played Chaplin and that he acted in a Jackie Chan film), is cooler/funnier than being an anorexic child star that people used to care about.

You gotta love Thailand

I love the arrow that points at the bottle!

(Confession: I created a Twitter account that I don't even plan to use/Twit on, just so I can follow Adam Lambert and Matt Giraud ;__;)

Reminds me of someone... But everyone moves on. :D Hoping you'll get over other troubles!

My childhood adventures

I know. I'm thinking the same thing.

WHAT ARE THEY DOING, SYRINGING AND PROBING A FIVE-YEAR-OLD'S EYE!?

yesterday

6I gathering totally cracked me up. Only 25% attendance but it was great to catching up and reminiscing our primary school days (: Best part was talking about our adventures with the teachers.

Hahaha the greeting we had to sing for music class was so hilarious.

"Good morning Mrs Prakash" Soh mi mi soh soh mi dohhhh

The whole gathering, again, revolved around gambling games. Foosball was hilarious. Cherie and Jade totally owned Ee Wen and Jordan! 20-7 leh haha. From now on, own-goals are called "Jordan goals". Being unable to hit the ball is classified as "Eewenism".

6I days were so much fun (:

"You got grade 5 theory or not!" LOL.

Percussionists, let us gather and worship the great bald one! *Fist to chin*

Another success!

MOECO Camp 2009 concert was a blast!

Yay for Orchestra A percussion! The super hardworking section that improved super fast! To quote Mr Ngoh, "你们进步神速"! Our practice session backstage was pretty hilarious. :P

Oddly, the concert felt pretty casual. Performing "A Musical Adventure" was exciting. 凤阳花鼓 was so much fun. 宫 was... calming. .___. Heh anyway... GOOD JOB MY DEAR SECTION :D

Wei Xian, Xue Ling, Alfred, Chong Yun, Ze Xian!

And I'm reminded of the awesome Orchestra B percussion '08! I miss our prata escapades!

Wen Yun, Amelia, Chew Fei, Wei Hao, Zhenyi, Seng Fong!

打击 is always the best (:

"Are you from Russia?"

My MOECO Camp percussion section is fun! And hilarious. Haha we're weird unique people.

As cheesy as its title may be, "A Musical Adventure" is actually quite an interesting piece.

My goodness, Mr Ngoh and Mr Quek are so funny.

Favourite line of the day:
"Are you from Russia? No? Then don't rush through your part!"

Yay Mr Quek remembers YQP! Even us pesky little then-Sec-1s!

"我看你从小长到大!" :D

Great Find of the Day

Finally, a website that teaches you how to clap your hands!

Goodness! I never knew that we clap "because we are happy"! I... I always thought it was some cult sign! Hee hee, silly me! *slap forehead*

Oh, and according to the website, the appropriate clapping method is:

"Clap palms against each other only, with the fingers held up towards the sky. Slap the palm of one hand onto the other, clapping the right hand to the left, and then immediately reverse it, keeping a back and forth smooth movement with each clap in a back and forth motion."

Somehow that sounds awfully difficult.

Well, it's time we all WAKE UP and learn the correct clapping method! A great spiritual leader shows us how:

"Like that!"

C'mon, make it unanimous. WAIL.

Adam Lambert is gay.
Adam Lambert is gay.
Adam Lambert is gay.
Adam Lambert is gay.
Adam Lambert is gay.

And Kris is his type. LOL. LOL. LOL. (Gasp, Zoy, GASP!!!)

Ahhh I want that copy of Rolling Stones NOW! D':

(Yes, we knew it all along. Come to think of it, the whole hoo-ha about it makes me giggle a bit.)

Wishes

Conversations with my parents always turn out disappointing.

"What do you want for your birthday?"

"Fly me to the US to catch the AI Live Tour Concert. And somehow get the AI Top 5 -- y'know what, just Adam and Allison -- to sing me a birthday song. Screw H1N1."

"...You wait ah."

"Okay. *waits*"

AM STILL WAITING!

Charbroiled people

Question:

When the sun gets excited, does the Singapore Flyer become a magnificent collection of hamster-ball saunas that slowly roasts pesky little innocent people (who of course have been carefully marinated in some lovely sunshine, hair gel and their own sweat) into juicy, tender kebabs on femurs?

WHY?!

Why are all fabulous people gay? WHY!!!

I need to know one ultra-cool person who is neither gay nor possibly-gay. NAO!

(Crap am I blogging like this is Twitter?!)
