Another stupid thing that nearly happened
I was going to email someone to enquire about an audition for this production, which I heard of via the Great Web.
I thought the person-in-charge's was rather familiar.
Well, I'm quite glad I tried to recall that name. Because...
I know that person. And it would be really stupid if I did email him like he was a stranger.
(Verbal diarrhoea alert!)
Okayokay fine, to practice writing logically for exams:
I went to a youth theatre company called Buds for a while early this year. If I'm not wrong it's still held at the Substation on Sundays. They provide theatre classes, totally free. No fees, no salaries.
So I went to the Substation on Sunday afternoons, about thrice. (This is where I actually got to know the above-mentioned person)
Then on the fourth week, I went to the usual place at the usual time. No one. I waited about half an hour, then went next door (to the Peranakan Museum) and spent another half hour there. I went back and no one was in the room.
Same thing happened the following Sunday.
So I... stopped going altogether.
Either they made a schedule change and I wasn't informed, or they stopped having classes (I think it's the former).
Sigh. How sad. It was a small but friendly group. I kind of regret not emailing to find out what happened.
Then again, the little voice in my head says don't ask, since it's been 7 months.
---
Heh I'm just rambling. Because my year-end exams start tomorrow and I'm freaking out.
Now.
