Apathy
Optimist: Block tests end in 4 days!
Pessimist: Block tests start tomorrow. And I am not prepared for any subject. Maybe... nah. ...CRAP.
Optimist: I am so psyched about all the stuff I'm going to do after blocks!
Pessimist: I am sooo psyched about my falling percentile.
Optimist: KI is pretty interesting.
Pessimist: But I'll fail anyway because I have no idea whether I know enough.
Optimist: Oh well, I'll fail anyway!
Pessimist: Oh well, I'll fail anyway.
Which do you identify with more?

HCCO
A few hours ago, my last school CO concert ended.
The stage felt unfamiliar even though I've seen it too often. But I'm sure everyone from HCCO felt safe, knowing that the people beside you onstage were just as nervous and just as excited to wow the audience.
None of us will ever experience such a concert again. It is one of a kind. HCCO has taught us to seize every moment, and I'm glad we did. For once, I felt no fear onstage because I wanted to treasure that very moment in time.
It's an event of joy and reluctance. The people I have practiced, played, slacked, gossiped, eaten, joked and laughed with every day are sweaty and tired from moving instruments. It's been a long day, a long journey to this last concert. But we are all smiling, tearing. Pride radiates from within.
This isn't the end of my CO journey. But I'll always remember why I started this journey in the first place.
I love HCCO. I love our DJs!

Oh, stop it.
Everyone is feeling not-so-great about their lives now. Everyone feels like they're not being understood. Everyone thinks life is out to get them. Everyone is wallowing in despair and pity. Everyone gets a little self-indulgent and egocentric. Everyone thinks they have so much work to do when everyone else is busy too.

YOG Opening Ceremony (so exciting but can you imagine the workload)
WHERE IS MY FENCING TIME D: Argh. I seriously miss fencing. But I probably can't train with the school anymore since I've been at CO for so long. ): Sigh!
